Safe Mobility Santa Ana Plan (SMSA): Addressing the safety of our transportation system has been identified as a priority and immediate necessity for the City of Santa Ana. Central Santa Ana Complete Streets Plan: A consultant agreement was approved by City Council on September 1st to begin work on the Central Santa Ana Complete Streets Plan. Newhope, Civic Center, and Grand Bike Lanes: A construction contract was awarded on September 1st to install bike lanes on Newhope between McFadden and First, on Civic Center between Bristol and Broadway, and on Grand between 21st and Fairhaven.
Bicycle Safety Education Campaign: The City of Santa Ana is launching a bilingual traffic safety campaign to reduce collisions involving pedestrians and people on bicycles by improving the behaviors of all road users.
